When you are in the market for a new printer for your computer ….. make sure you do your research and see how much the replacement cartridges will cost you.
I have many customers who come in and tell me “I purchased this great printer — on sale and it only cost me $29.99″ — when I show them the price list for a generic or remanufactured cartridge, most people are surprised to see that the cost of one of the cartridges is sometimes more than what they paid for the printer itself.
Things to keep in mind when purchasing a printer — what will it mainly be used for
1. General Printing, i.e, letters, documents, emails
2. Photographs
3. How much the ink cartridges actually hold
4. Does the printer take 2 cartridges (black and tricolor) 4 cartridges (black, cyan, magenta & yellow) or, 6 cartridges (black, cyan, magenta, yellow, photo cyan and photo magenta)
5. Are generics or compatible cartridges available and/or are you open to using generic cartridges?

I for one strongly support the concept of occasional informal group gatherings in the form of an early evening trip to a local pub . . . On numerous occasions, I’ve voiced the opinion that our weekly meetings leave a higher sense of accomplishment when, for whatever reason, they do not follow a strict format. The need for structure is not lost on me; there are things that clearly must be done on a regular basis and they will be lost if the meetings denegrate into chaos. Sipping a cold one with the group would therefore seem to be the perfect solution. It is not necessary for the group coffers to suffer for this; I feel certain all of our membership can afford this out of pocket.
